Earth Day is this Sunday, April 22. There are tons of ways to celebrate up and down the East Coast, and even right here at the Jersey Shore.
The Point Pleasant Borough Environmental Commission is holding its annual Earth Day Celebration on Saturday, April 21, from 12 – 4pm at Riverfront Park in Point Pleasant. The event will showcase vendors of green products/ideas, environmental organizations, and local businesses. There will be games and rides for the kids as well as food and music for all.
The Kind Life also has a piece on Earth Day celebrations from New York to Florida. There are tons of events happening in New York City, including Earth Day in Central Park, a three-day fair entitled “Earth Fair NYC,” and walking tours of the city’s most vibrant and green places.
