Van Halen is back in the saddle again with the newest release, ‘Tattoo.’ On a scale of 1 to 10 — 10 being the best, we give this sexy dragon magic a 9.5. Eddie Van Halen’s solo is a treasure to the ears. David Lee Roth’s voice is unmistakable. The combination is very much Van Halen, and has been a long time coming. This is the first single off its first album in 14 years. It’s also the first to feature David Lee Roth since 1984. A different Kind of Truth is scheduled to drop February 7.
The reunited rockers, minus bassist Michael Anthony, (and replaced by Wolfgang Van Halen — gotta keep it in the family) are planning their comeback tour in 2012.
