Shore Ballroom Studio has set up a prom dress donation drive to help girls in the Jackson area who cannot afford a dress for their junior or senior prom. The Studio is asking the community to look into their closets and donate fancy dresses–of all sizes and lengths–along with shoes, purses, shawls, costume jewelry by February 8th.
“Everyone needs to feel special on their prom day,” comments Maureen Nepveu, owner of Shore Ballroom Studio. “It’s a great time to go through our closets and donate the great bridesmaid dress or size 0 cocktail dress that may be beautiful, but we know we won’t wear again. The girls will be excited to know that they too can look beautiful at their prom.”
Donations can be dropped off at Shore Ballroom Studio located at 632 Ocean Road in Point Pleasant. For more information, contact Maureen at 732.899.6466.
About Shore Ballroom Studio: The Studio specializes in swing, salsa, hiphop, tap, 1st dance as husband & wife, ballroom, professional and amateur competitive/examination training, choreography and much more. Dance parties are held every Friday night from 8-10:30. $10 per person.
