Our world is in mourning. Our hearts break from the tragedy in Sandy Hook Elementary School. Allison Hepworth, of House of Hepworths, wrote a touching letter to teachers everywhere. It’s so beautiful that we wanted to share it with you.
Hearing the name Sandy Hook, each time, is like an electric shock. We shake our heads and remind ourselves that “no, it’s not our Sandy Hook.” Or is it? Sandy Hook in Connecticut is part of everyone’s world and it is bringing much needed attention to several issues. One of which is summarized in Liza Long’s article about her son with mental illness, and how our society is handling it today.
We pray for the families in Connecticut and for those that suffer from mental illness. Love and peace.
