Mark your calendars for January 20: Red Tails is a must-see movie! This George Lucas action film is inspired by the first all-African American aerial combat unit to serve in World War II. Star Cuba Gooding Jr. talked to Parade magazine this week about bringing this historic tale to the big screen, and said that he saw the movie as a “love letter to the men and women in our armed services.”
Good Jr. also mentions that there were real Tuskegee airmen on the movie set every day, “and we would sit around them and they would just tell us stories.”
