Amy Graff of SFGate.com has compiled a list of the 50 Best Family Films Ever Made, aided by Commonsense Media, a nonprofit organization that helps parents navigate media.
The list includes an array of genres for different ages, from young kids to high schoolers, and there are films from every decade — the 1930s and 40s (“The Wizard of Oz,” “Snow White,” and “National Velvet”) to the modern era (all of the “Toy Story” movies, “March of the Penguins,” and last year’s “The Muppets”).
