Remembering September 11th

A number of communities along the Jersey

shore have planned remembrances of the September 11th attacks.

1. Atlantic Highlands: 9/11 Memorial at the Mount Mitchill Scenic Overlook in Atlantic Highlands. Starts at 2pm

2. Brick: Windward Beach, starting at 8pm.

3. Middletown: Middletown World Trade Center Memorial Gardens, starting at 6:30pm.

4. Ocean Grove: Great Auditorium at 7:30pm.

5. Toms River: Mathis Plaza on Route 166, beginning at 8pm.

6. Ocean County as a whole will hold its ceremony on Friday in the Administration Building Courtyard in Toms River at at 8:30am.
