Start planning your summer schedule! The North to Shore Festival is officially set to return June 13–28, 2026. The festival will feature live performances and comedy at venues in Newark, Asbury Park, and Atlantic City. There's something for everyone and many events are free or low-cost.
“This is a festival that celebrates New Jersey as a hub for creativity and artistic expression,” says David Rodriguez, NJPAC’s Executive Producer and Executive Vice President. “From performing arts to visual arts and film, North to Shore showcases the talent that makes our state unique.”
The festival draws world-class talent to the area's most iconic venues. In Asbury Park, catch performances at Wonder Bar, the Stone Pony, and other spots along the boardwalk. Newark hosts concerts and community arts programming through partnerships with the Newark Arts Council, Newark Alliance, and the city’s Arts and Education District.
Supporting Local Artists
Since its launch in 2023, North to Shore continues to spotlight local performers and artists. In Asbury Park, collaborations with AsburyFest, Asbury Underground, Carousel Art House, and Georgie’s Bar highlight the city’s arts scene from the West Side to the waterfront. Newark’s community events also give local creatives a platform, with many accessible to all.
“Artists who have built their careers in New Jersey are at the heart of this festival,” says Dr. Sherri-Ann Butterfield, NJPAC’s Senior Vice President of Social Impact. “We’re excited to shine a spotlight on them again this summer.”
More than just a summer festival, North to Shore brings concerts, workshops, and cultural events to Atlantic City throughout the year. Social initiatives like the Growing Healthy Pantries program continue to support local communities by improving access to healthy food across the state.
