Comedy Relief

He had so much fun in NJ, he decided to come around for another round. John Mulaney, we’re talking about here. Yes, the Emmy-winning stand-up comedian, writer, and SNL alum John Mulaney is back in NJ! In case you missed him at the Count Basie Theater a couple weeks ago, Mulaney is bringing his 2022 From Scratch Tour to New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) in Newark on Friday, July 29, 2022. We couldn’t be happier!

John Mulaney's new set tackles addiction, relapse, and controversy in the public eye. Get ready for some brutal honesty and cutting introspection. We hear that his stand-up is as funny as ever.

Tickets to see John Mulaney are on sale now and can be purchased by visiting NJPAC, calling 888.GO.NJPAC (888.466.5722), or stopping by the NJPAC Box Office.

Back in Action

Iliza Shlesinger is “Back in Action” and also brings her comedy tour to NJPAC on Friday, August 19 at 7 p.m.

Seemingly always in action, Iliza Shlesinger was not one of those people that took the time to relax and recharge when the world came to a halt two years ago. The award-winning comedian and actress released a book, a cookbook, and two movies, as well as embarking on a drive-in comedy tour. But she is just getting started. Get tickets here.

Sweat the small stuff

Also on the NJPAC lineup is Kevin James. The Emmy-nominated actor and stand-up comedian is coming to Newark on Friday, November 4, 2022.

Best known for his performance in the hit CBS series The King of Queens, Kevin James also starred in dozens of fan-favorite comedies including Hitch, I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry, Paul Blart: Mall Cop, Grown Ups, Zookeeper and Here Comes the Boom, along with voice work in animated films Hotel Transylvania, Monster House and Barnyard. Kevin’s standup specials, Sweat the Small Stuff and Never Don’t Give Up, are both currently streaming on Netflix.

Tickets to see Kevin James are on sale now and can be purchased by visiting NJPAC, calling 888.GO.NJPAC (888.466.5722), or stopping by the NJPAC Box Office.

Until next time, peace!
