Located in Red Bank, Pier Village in Long Branch, and Palmer Square in Princeton, Carter & Cavero’s extra-virgin and olive oils are grown and pressed in special mills in Spain, Italy, France, Greece, Chile and California. The stores offer a multitude of olive-related products for cooking, health, home and beauty.
Visitors are invited to sample a wide range of oils and vinegars. We like the Meyer lemon extra-virgin olive oil and raspberry balsamic vinegar. It comes in a set with a ceramic baking dish for $31.95. A popular gift set is the Mediterranean Sampler which includes Leccino (Italy), Hojiblanca (Spain) and Athenolia (Greece) olive oils for $44.20.
Bottles of Carter & Cavero olive oil start at $12.95 for 200ml. Order online if pressed for time, but hopefully you’ll be able to visit the store often to get at taste of and feel for their old world olive oil.
